We got to be part of the most original ceremony in one of the villages! Pierce-our host had got a new motorbike recently. And this day was the day for him to get his blessings from the head of the family!! (Pierce got 3(!) wives, and they were all there, together with the other women around.. They were dancing and singing, and the Head of the family (his aunt) gave him the blessings. Touching here, touching there, praying and giving him the best wishes for the future with his new bike…. It was a nice ceremony!! Maybe something to think about at home?!!
